HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Volunteer Support

Community members with HR experience can volunteer as mentors, helping participants navigate career development, job applications, and interview preparation.

Professionals from various industries can offer workshops, resume reviews, and skill-building sessions to equip survivors with practical tools for the job market.

Employment Partnerships

Local employers can partner with HR Green House to offer job placements, internships, or shadowing opportunities, providing participants with hands-on experience in the workforce.

Businesses can create flexible job opportunities specifically designed to help survivors re-enter the workforce while they rebuild their confidence and skills.

Mental Health & Counseling Support

Mental health professionals can offer pro-bono or discounted counseling sessions for survivors to help them process trauma and build emotional resilience.

Wellness practitioners can provide services like stress management workshops, meditation, or self-care programs to support participants’ mental and physical well-being.

Resource Sharing & Donations

Community members can donate professional clothing, laptops, or supplies for participants to use during training sessions and job interviews.

Local organizations can provide access to facilities like conference rooms or computer labs, for training and workshops.

Financial Contributions & Sponsorships

Local businesses and individuals can contribute through donations, sponsorships, or in-kind support for training programs, HR certification exams, or participant resources.

Companies can also sponsor specific programs or provide scholarships to fund HR certification preparation for participants.

Public Awareness & Advocacy

Community members can help raise awareness by sharing HR Green House's mission and programs through social media, community events, and local networks.

Advocacy groups can collaborate to educate the public about domestic violence and the importance of career empowerment in achieving long-term independence for survivors.
